Jabal Omar awards second phase contracts for towers

Riyadh: Jabal Omar Development Co., a Saudi Arabian developer, said it has awarded construction contracts worth 1.49 billion Saudi riyals (Dh1.45 billion) to two local companies for the second phase of its Jabal Omar project.

The contracts awarded to Saudi Arabian Baytur Construction Co. and Azmeel Contracting and Construction Corporation include building four hotel towers, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse yesterday.

The duration of the works is 24 months, it said.
