1. Conference
Running all day today, Cityscape Global Conference is being held under a theme of Reshaping the industry. It will host distinguished speakers covering a variety of relevant topics, including the emirate’s regulatory landscape, Dubai’s blockchain strategy and the prospect of healthcare as an attractive real estate asset. Industry leaders including Marwan Bin Ghalita, CEO of Dubai Land Department and Real Estate Regulatory Authority; Mohammad Shael Al Saadi, CEO, Department of Economic Development; Craig Plumb, Head of Research, JLL Mena; and Wesam Lootah, CEO, Smart Dubai Government, will share their expertise.
2. Cityscape Talks
This platform on the show floor is designed to enable visitors and investors to make well-informed investment decisions by learning more about opportunities available at the exhibition. Industry sessions will focus on key themes for real estate brokers, architects, engineers, and other professionals, with experts from Bayut.com, Drees & Sommer, Reidin, Emirates NBD, Arton Capital and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank hosting talks.
3. Awards
More than 300 submissions were received for this year’s Cityscape Awards for Emerging Markets, the highest number ever recorded. Taking place on September 11 at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai, 11 awards will be selected from a shortlist prepared by the judges’ panel. This year, 45 projects from 13 countries including the UAE, US, Egypt, India, Turkey and Hong Kong are competing.
