Hands over its 10,000th completed residential unit in Dubai
Dubai: With 10,000 completed residences in its bag, Emaar is now looking to ramp up the handover rate to about 1,000 units a month over the next six months.
Beginning 2006, it will be moving into a higher gear, both within the UAE and other markets, and topping it up with the Burj Dubai completion in 2008.
"No other real estate group in this region has approached this rate of delivery, and today's handover puts down a marker on how much EMAAR has achieved," says Mohammed Ali Alabbar Alabbar, Chairman, at the handover of the 10,000th unit on June 15.
Since late 2002, Emaar started handover of units across developments such as Emirates Hills, Dubai Marina, The Springs, The Greens, Arabian Ranches and Meadows.
"It isn't just a matter of walls and roofs, although the qualities of these are very important. EMAAR is offering lifestyle choices that people want. We are creating something here in Dubai that everyone from this region—even Europe, the sub-continent, the Far East, even as far as Australia—wants to be a part of."
"We are in a business of making dreams come true. That is what we have been able to do for this family and for many thousands of others who live in Dubai. It is only the beginning. There are still more to come."
Jamal Rabah, a Dubai-based contractor, was the proud recipient of the keys to the 10,00th residence, this one located at Arabian Ranches. He finds living in Dubai more "relaxing and safe" compared to the West and Asia.
As a bonus, EMAAR has granted annual membership to the Arabian Ranches Desert Course Golf Club to Rabah, who plays golf as a hobby. Part of the package will see his five children—all keen horse riders—given 50 one-hour riding lessons and annual membership to the Polo Clubhouse.
"EMAAR has opened the 10,000th door to a new lifestyle for yet another customer and this is something we can be proud of," said Ahmad Falasi, EMAAR's Senior Manager.
"Everything you need for a living, for luxury and lifestyle is here, plus the price of the property is very competitive. This place is very accessible, close to the global village, the magnificent desert golf course, polo club, and every amenity for the family. Among the places that I have been to, I found the utmost quality of living here for my family," Rabah said.
