Dubai's Meydan, Nad Al Sheba record significant developer, property buyer interest
Dubai: Dubai's latest skyscraper - a 71-storey structure - will be in Meydan, one of the city's fastest growing residential and commercial locations. The developer is Sobha realty.
The 'S Tower at Sobha Hartland 2' will be 300 meters high and represents a design personally favoured by the founder of the company, P.N.C. Menon. This will also be one of the tallest structures in Meydan. (Meydan and the wider Nad Al Sheba area have been generating significant developer interest. Binghatti recently spent on acquiring land in the area to build signature projects with a combined value of Dh25 billion.)
Prices for units at the new S Tower have not been revealed. The intent is to keep the sales process as private as possible, with personalized invitations and calling in interest.
Sobha has another S Tower development, on Sheikh Zayed Road. The 62-storey structure rises to 229 meters and is complete. The Sheikh Zayed Road stretch has seen a spate of new launches, including the twin-tower Jumeirah Emirates Towers and the Downtown Residences from Deyaar. They add to the already announced Trump Tower and the Burj Azizi.
Apart from the completed S Tower on SZR, Sobha also a multi-tower cluster called 'Sobha Central' on that stretch.
With 'S Towers', the developer says it will continue with selling through 'by invitation only' strategy. There will be 105 units in the new project, with spaces ranging between 5,430- to 5,440 square feet.
A unit at the first S Tower recently sold for Dh100 million.
"The S at Sobha Hartland 2 is part of the Privy Collection," said a spokesperson. "Pricing will be shared upon request for profiled customers."
