Azizi Developments has awarded two contracts worth Dh1.5 billion for Phase 1 of its Victoria mixed-use community at MBR City. Construction will commence immediately.
Two contractors have been named to build the 32 buildings with 4,000 residential units. Green Modelling Contracting will be responsible for 16 buildings while Modern Civil International Contracting Company takes care of the other half.
Construction is due to be completed in the third quarter of 2019. “Our goal for 2018 is to continue at the same rapid pace of development and ensure that we meet the growing demand for premier residential real estate in Dubai,” said Mirwais Azizi, Chairman. “Azizi Developments has developed a strong reputation in the market for its ability to develop multiple mega-projects and deliver them ahead of schedule.”
Spread over a construction area of 33 million square feet, Azizi Victoria will eventually have 105 buildings of 30,000 units, a retail district and two hotels. Azizi had recently confirmed its entry into the hospitality space.
The developer also has another community themed project at MBR City, in the form of the Riviera.
