Dubai: Azizi Developments said on Thursday it has recorded Dh1.3 billion in sales at Cityscape Global, the annual property exhibition that was held in Dubai from September 11-13.

This the most Azizi has ever sold at an edition of Cityscape Global, the company said. On the first day of the event, phase one and 50 per cent of inventory of phase two of Azizi’s Dh12 billion waterfront project, Azizi Riviera, was sold out.

The development comprises 69 mid-rise residential buildings, with 13,000 units that include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The project, which is located in Meydan One, also includes a retail district, and a four- and a five-star hotel. Construction on Azizi Riviera commenced in July this year, with the completion of phases one and two scheduled for the second half of 2018.

In a statement, Azizi said it saw successful sales across a number of its other projects at Cityscape 2017, including Farhad Azizi Residences in Dubai Healthcare City, Azizi Mina serviced apartments on The Palm Jumeirah, and residential developments at Al Furjan.

The total value of all its projects showcased at Cityscape 2017 amounted to around Dh20 billion.

The developer also said it would announce two new developments at Meydan One in the last quarter of this year. The projects will be four times the size and value of the Azizi Riviera.
