London: Al Moosa Enterprises, which owns and operates Golden Sands hotel apartments in Dubai, said it plans to open properties under the same brand name in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Fujairah.

Its existing serviced apartment portfolio comprises 11 Golden Sands and 3 Silver Sands with an inventory of about 1,800 accommodation units.

"We are initially looking at having at least one Golden Sands each in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Fuj-airah," Golden Sands general manager Mohammad Khoori said.

Al Moosa also owns two Hilton-managed properties and one Four Points Sheraton hotel operated by Starwood in Dubai.

Khoori said the group is investing in several new hotels to be managed by international chains. "Negotiations are going on for a management contract for one four-star hotel in Jumeirah Beach Residence and one five-star hotel on the Palm Jumeirah," he said.
