Dubai’s 377-metre Ciel Dubai Marina opens this week

Dubai: Dubai will open the 377-metre Ciel Dubai Marina on November 15, setting a new record as the world’s tallest hotel. Developed by The First Group and operated under InterContinental Hotels Group’s Vignette Collection, the 82-storey tower will overtake the Gevora Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. The property adds to Dubai’s growing list of high-rise hospitality landmarks and underlines the city’s continued focus on large-scale tourism investments.
The hotel’s 1,004 rooms and suites stretch across 82 floors, each offering panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the Marina skyline. Opening rates start at Dh1,310 per night, while premium suites climb to about Dh2,400 for larger rooms with high-floor lounge access.
Designed by the award-winning architectural firm NORR, the glass-clad tower is built around a dramatic central atrium that floods the interiors with natural light. Guests can look forward to a rooftop observation deck offering 360-degree views of Dubai’s landmarks, including Burj Al Arab and Ain Dubai.
The property will also set new Guinness World Records for both the world’s highest infinity pool and the highest club. At 76 storeys above ground, the Tattu Sky Pool overtakes the Address Beach Resort’s previous record of 294 metres. Just a few floors above, Tattu Sky Lounge on level 81 will host what is currently the world’s highest club.
At the heart of Ciel’s offering is Tattu Dubai, an award-winning Asian restaurant occupying three upper levels of the tower. Its design combines contemporary Chinese aesthetics with sweeping views of the city. The culinary lineup extends across multiple international concepts, including:
Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery, a homegrown favourite known for all-day menus and locally sourced ingredients
West 13, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant serving handmade pasta, Greek gyro stations, and mezze plates in an open-kitchen setting
East 14, a vibrant buffet-style restaurant offering flavours from across Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India, complete with live ramen, sushi, and curry stations
The launch comes as Dubai continues to expand its tourism footprint, having attracted over 17 million international visitors in 2024. With projects like Ciel Dubai Marina, the emirate is consolidating its lead as one of the most competitive luxury hospitality markets globally.
Bookings are now open ahead of the November 15 launch, with the property expected to draw strong international demand in the peak winter travel season.
