Dubai: The Arabian Healthcare Group has confirmed plans for a new 209-bed multi-specialty hospital in Ras Al Khaimah under the ‘Greenfield’ banner. There will also be an expansion for its Urgent Care community clinics, something that its partner - CommonSpirit Health - has developed in the US.

The new hospital will be located along the E311 - Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, which will help provide ‘easy access to neighboring districts and emirates’. The 41,767 square meter facility is scheduled for a Q3-2027 opening.

Once this opens, the current RAK Hospital will primarily focus on serving those with mid- to lower-tier insurance, while the new hospital will concentrate on providing specialized care for individuals with premium insurance coverage.

“With the implementation of mandatory health insurance, we recognize both the increased demand for healthcare services and the opportunity to enhance our offerings,” said Dr. Raza Siddiqui, CEO of Arabian Healthcare Group and Executive Director of RAK Hospital. “Ras Al Khaimah has been our home for the past 17 years, during which we have built a solid reputation and earned the trust of local and international patients.”

The Urgent Care clinics will follow a hub-and-spoke model, connecting with the hospital network and offering convenient care options in key areas of Ras Al Khaimah. New locations will include Al Dhait, Al Maried, and Al Ghail, along with the relocation of the existing clinic in Al Hamra to a larger, more advanced facility.
