She shares how the right message on the right platforms can enhance a brand's presence
Creating visibility is not just about being seen, it’s about being seen by the right audience. That was the key takeaway from a fireside chat with Laura Racaru, Founder, Rock Media Global, during Gulf News’ the UAE Growth and Investment Forum, held at V Hotel Dubai, Al Habtoor City.
“Appearing in the media can be crucial to a company’s success when done strategically,” said Racaru, who recently launched her own venture, Rock Media.
“It improves a company’s visibility, strengthens reputation, positions the brand as a sector leader, and attracts new business opportunities,” she said.
Racaru stressed the importance of choosing the right channel for dissemination.
“Knowing when to use a press release is just the first step. What matters just as much is how and where you distribute it,” she said.
“A press release without an effective strategy can easily go unnoticed and it may fail to meet its purpose.”
To avoid that, Racaru recommended leveraging specialised platforms.
“To ensure efficient distribution, turn to platforms like our own Rock Media Global Group system, which guarantees placement in leading publications worldwide,” she added.
Rock Media Global’s platform allows businesses to bypass the complexity of engaging with multiple news outlets individually. “Our system ensures press releases are published in up to 30 newspapers per country.”
Rock Media Global Group also offers social media development services. Its AI-powered software allows you to optimise and grow your social media by progressively and significantly increasing your followers, likes, views, and comments, to the point of also increasing your business' Google reviews and much more.
Reflecting on her own entrepreneurial journey, Racaru shared that her biggest challenges were related to timing and client privacy.
“To meet deadlines, we have strengthened our press release publishing team, as schedules vary globally,” she said. “And in some cases, we’ve had to resort to confidentiality agreements to ensure we don’t publish anything without the client’s consent.”
Her advice for aspiring entrepreneurs? Embrace the risks, but manage them wisely.
“As an entrepreneur, there’s always risk, so learn to manage it instead of avoiding it and create your own opportunities.” she said.
For Racaru, self-education is essential. “Self-education is the only way to create great fortunes,” she said. “We learn more on our own than in any institution.”
With businesses increasingly competing for attention in a crowded digital landscape, Racaru highlighted that visibility is key to growth. She stressed the importance of engaging with the right media platforms and delivering the right message.
