AAN Digital net loss narrows in second quarter

The group net loss was impacted by increase in revenues from its unit in Saudi Arabia

Dubai: AAN Digital Services said on Thursday its net loss narrowed to 92,302 Kuwaiti dinars (Dh1,118,665) in the quarter to June from 704,755 dinars (Dh8,542,725) in same period in 2017.

The group net loss was impacted by increase in revenues from its unit in Saudi Arabia due to changing commission scheme, the company said in a statement posted on Dubai Financial Market’s website.

In the six months to June, the company also posted a smaller net loss of 331,899 dinars from 1.06 million dinars in the year ago period.

Total assets saw a rise of 12 per cent to 55.97 million dinars.
