Fujairah: The first oil berth in the UAE for very large crude carriers (VLCC) will be inaugurated in Fujairah on Wednesday, September 21.
His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, will inaugurate the berth that overlooks the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean coast. The project will further bolster Fujairah port’s position as a key hub for global oil trade. It is also a major step in empowering the Fujairah port by developing its services, particularly in light of the rising global oil consumption.
