Lamprell to build new facilities in Sharjah free zone

Oil rig construction firm has acquired 114,280 square metres of land

Dubai: Oil rig construction specialists Lamprell Energy will build new fully automated fabrication facilities in the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.

The free zone said in a statement on Monday that the London-listed, UAE-based company has acquired 114,280 square metres of land in phase two of the free zone.

The company will use the new area to build pipe fabrication shops and blasting and painting sheds, the statement said.
