Emarat renews Emoil terminal contract with Enoc

The facility includes nine storage tanks of varying capacities for blending and storing high quality gasoline products

Dubai: Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, Emarat has renewed the lease contract of Emoil’s Petroleum Storage FZCO in Jebel Ali, to Emirates National Petroleum Company Limited Enoc, for the year 2014.

Abdul Rahman Qasim Al Ali, Commercial Sales Manager at Emarat, Managing Director Emoil Petroleum Storage, and Tayyeb Al Mulla, Managing Director, Supply, Trading and Processing at Enoc, signed the renewal contract in the attendance of Ebrahim Yacoob Al Tamimi,Terminals and Logistics Manager at Emarat.

Emoil was established as a joint venture between Emarat, BP Global Investments Ltd. and Trafigura Beheer BV at a total investment of US$32 Million.

Emarat owns the largest share in the Emoil and handles its management and operations.

The company is built on an area of 47,000 square metres in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The facility includes nine storage tanks of varying capacities for blending and storing high quality gasoline products with a total capacity of 203,000 cubic metres. The Emoil is currently developing its facilities.
