Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier leisure and entertainment hub, illuminated in yellow to announce the arrival of the most successful Broadway production of all time, set to be performed in the region for the first time at the destination’s state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue, Etihad Arena, starting from 16th November this year.
Now in its 25th year and performed in front of millions worldwide across 100 cities, Disney’s The Lion King is a visually stunning musical adaptation of the Disney animated feature film. It is the most popular stage musical in the world and the third longest-running production in Broadway’s history.
In celebration and anticipation of its arrival, attractions across Yas Island lit up in vivid yellow including Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, CLYMB Abu Dhabi, as well as Etihad Arena and W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island.
