Tropicool will be present as a counter and kiosk, promising to attract visitors at the Expo 2020 Dubai. At the Brazilian Pavilion, the Tropicool counter will illustrate the authenticity of Brazilian superfruits and amplify their commitment to protecting the Amazon. The Tropicool kiosk at the Sustainability Pavilion offers all guests the opportunity to taste delicious açaí bowls and smoothies. The Expo 2020 Dubai began on the 1st of October 2021 and will continue until the 31st of March, 2022.
The counter will show the number of seedlings to be replanted, based on the amount of açaí and mango bowls sold by Tropicool worldwide. A tree-o-meter featured at the Tropicool kiosk will be displaying the same. Tropicool is present at more than sixty points of sale, in five countries that is Qatar, UAE, Mexico, Brazil and recently, Australia. The replanting is carried out in partnership with the NGO SOS Amazônia, aiming to generate returns for the families in the region, who now have a source of income by selling açaì. At the stand, one can taste the brand’s products such as fruit creams, juices and ice cream made from açaí, mango and other superfruits.
“Tropicool was born with foresight of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) concept. Despite being around for a short span of one and half years, its message and practices helped it quickly gain a powerful reputation, its commitment to the environment. Every aspect of Tropicool is built to be sustainable. The raw material is of traceable origin and generates local income. The materials used at the points of sale have a positive impact on the environment, as they are reusable and recyclable. The entire concept respects best practices and inspires sustainable practices in this new eco-friendly era, which is also what this edition of the Expo reflects.", explains Rafael Prado, global head of the brand.
The company was created by Sheikhs Mohammed Al Thani and Ahmed Al Thani and partners Maurício Esteves and Caio Nabuco, who recently visited the Amazon to inaugurate the replanting project. The company will display its entire line of products based on açaí and other Brazilian superfruits and is looking for partners to explore their marketing formats.
“Tropicool stands out from the rest because, we are the only truly organic, non-frozen açaí brand globally. We focus on showing the potential of typically Brazilian superfruits to everyone, everywhere. We work to add value to authentic Brazilian products, and with the world recovering economically, we see great opportunities to reach new global markets”, details Caio Nabuco.
The brand currently operates its kiosks and carts in high-visibility and tourist spots such as Dubai Mall, Cove Beach, La Mer, at the Dubai Fountain in front of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and also the “store in store” model, with partnerships with Caesar Palace, Bulgari Hotel and Four Seasons Jumeirah, in Dubai, as well as Hotel Emiliano in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Clube Pinheiros and Fazenda da Grama, in Brazil, among others.
