Empowering the passion for sports is a cornerstone of The Indian Academy's education philosophy. Through the Rahal program, in line with KHDA, students who are passionate about sports and aspire to pursue it as a career or compete at the national or international level are given the opportunity to be a part of this program. The program allows these students to receive concessions with their curriculum time and receive support from their teachers to balance their studies with their sports commitments. This holistic approach ensures that students can excel both academically and athletically.

TIAD is proud to announce that five of its badminton players, Dev Vishnu, Dev Ayyappan, Dhiren Ayyappan, Taabia Khan, and Aleena Qathun, have been selected for the UAE National Team to compete in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship 2023. These students have been nurtured through the Rahal program, which has provided them with the necessary support to excel in their chosen sport. Their selection for the national team is a testament to their talent, dedication, and the school's commitment to developing well-rounded individuals.

The Indian Academy has consistently produced badminton champions who have gone on to represent the UAE at various prestigious tournaments. The recent Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2023 held in Dubai saw the participation of several world-renowned badminton players, including Commonwealth Games men's singles champion Lakshya Sen and Olympic bronze medallist Anthony Ginting.

The Indian Academy continues to be a leading institution in promoting sports excellence and fostering the development of young athletes. The school's commitment to empowering students' passions and providing them with the necessary support sets a benchmark in creating well-rounded individuals who can excel in all aspects of their lives.
