Triton EV one of the leaders in clean tech smart mobility for the logistics sector plans to launch its 3.5 Ton Triton EV Pickup Truck for Indian and Middle East Market from its TEV’s EV range.

Chairman and MD of Triton EV Himanshu Patel spoke at length about his company’s plan and said, “EVs are becoming stronger by the virtue of their contribution into the diverse automobile sector. The logistics sector represents a great portion of automobile consumption and this sector is showing fast adoption of EVs. On such market demand, we at TEV are excited to introduce Triton EV Pickup Trucks with 3.5 Ton capacity.”

Patel further added, “I have a strong belief that EV pickup trucks have the potential to revolutionize the supply chain, promoting sustainability, efficiency, and economic growth. Supporting local EV production will not only generate job opportunities within the supply chain for a larger number of people. This EV Pickup Truck shall open the doors of better profitability and better supply chain coverage.”

The introduction of Electric Vehicle (EV) pickup trucks holds immense relevance for the Indian supplychain landscape. With India facing persistent air pollution issues, the adoption of EVs can significantly reduce emissions, improving air quality for supply chain workers and the general populace. Moreover, the shift to electric power reduces the country's dependency on imported fossil fuels, enhancing energy security and economic stability. Lower operating costs, government incentives, and reduced noise pollution make EV pickup trucks economically and environmentally appealing for businesses.

Triton EV has established its comprehensive Research and Development (R&D) Center facility in Kheda, Anand District near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The facility is 1 Lakh 50 Thousand square feet in area. This R&D centre has become the global centre of Triton EV’s entire R&D activities which includes development of Triton EV Trucks and special purpose vehicles.
