The event, which will be held in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, will provide participants with networking opportunities as well as a great platform to showcase their athletic abilities, especially in badminton.

The organisers say that the initiative will promote the physical fitness and mental health of those who work in the technology sector, apart from helping in character development, cultural exchange, and team bonding.

We, along with Dubai Sports Council, are promoting badminton in the Gulf region and will be adding multiple corporate tournaments in the future.

“Participation is the key, and on June 26 we will witness high-octane competition within the UAE’s tech sector. We hope to see the UAE’s tech industry band together to promote this wonderful sport,” he added.

“Such tournaments have a positive psychological effect on people who are tied to their daily routines and work pressure,” said Poonam Dwivedi, Director, TECHx Events.
