Dubai: Nesto Hypermarket, one of the UAE's largest retail chains, is celebrating the 126th Philippine Independence Day with a series of special events and promotions. The "Tatak Pinoy Fest," themed "Discover the Flavours of the Philippines," aims to honor the Filipino community, the fourth-largest expatriate group in the UAE.
The celebration was officially inaugurated on June 11 by Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, Ambassador of the Philippines to the UAE, and Nesto Managing Director, Jamal KP. This event marks a significant gesture to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Filipino community in the UAE.
As part of the festivities, Nesto is offering exclusive promotions on a wide variety of Filipino products and cuisines, valid until June 21. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for customers to explore the culinary delights and distinctive products of the Philippines.
In addition to the ongoing promotions, there will be cultural events for kids and adults on June 15 from 6 PM onwards. The main event of the cultural activities is the "Nesto Pinoy Super Singer" competition, where 10 selected contestants will perform in the final round starting at 8 PM.
