Mohammad Khalid joined Johnson Controls in 2014 and also worked in Motorola, Google

Dubai: the smart building solutions company Johnson Controls has confirmed Mohammad Khalid as Vice-President and General Manager for Middle East and Africa operations. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales, operations and technology and in his new role will further Johnson Controls’ digital solutions through its OpenBlue platform, HVAC equipment, fire and security systems.
Khalid holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, he held management positions at Motorola and Google. He joined Johnson Controls eight years ago. “These are truly exciting times for the creation and management of smart, healthy and sustainable buildings,” said Khalid. “We remain steadfast in commitment to ensure that we continue to lead the industry in the move towards offering solutions in energy efficiency and decarbonization for our customers.”
