Merck confirms industry veteran as regional VP

Dubai: The pharmaceutical company Merck recently appointed Ramsey Morad as regional Vice-President for the Healthcare business. He had 25 years’ experience in region as well as in Europe.

He joins from Allergan, where Morad was the vice-president and regional head of India, Middle East and Africa.

Merck’s Healthcare business is represented in the therapeutic areas of general medicine and endocrinology (including cardiometabolic care), fertility, neurodegenerative diseases and oncology.
