The WETEX & Dubai Solar Show exhibition came to the end in Dubai, UAE, on November 17. The Show featured a collective national exposition under the Made in Russia brand, organized by the Russian Export Center. Over the course of 3 days the participants of the exhibition held more than 100 business meetings with foreign partners. Their export potential exceeded $30 million.

About 14 companies from different regions of Russia were presented at the Made in Russia exposition. Exporters demonstrated cutting-edge engineering technologies and solutions in the field of water treatment, construction and operation of solar power plants, generation, supply of new electricity sources and other achievements of Russian industry in the field of sustainable development.

The companies held negotiations with 23 foreign contractors, including commercial and residential real estate developers, energy companies, distributors of water treatment systems. The exposition of Russian companies was visited by representatives of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as by the Trade Representative of Russia in the UAE Andrey Terekhin.

A unique opportunity to enter the developing market of the UAE and the Middle East has opened for the companies that took part in WETEX & Dubai Solar Show under the Made in Russia brand. A lot of work is planned following the results of the exhibition. Russian companies continue negotiations on product supply and possible opening of representative offices in the UAE.

In total, more than 2,100 companies from 62 countries took part in the WETEX & Dubai Solar Show in 2023. The exhibition attracted widespread attention from major local and international companies from the public and private sectors. The exhibition was visited by more than 47,000 people from more than 170 countries.
