Dubai: More than 300 industry professionals from 60 odd companies attended the Middle East Metallurgy Corrosion & Coatings Conference that closed November 23 in Dubai.

“The selection of right material, equipment and coating plays a vital role in the energy industry,” said Romin Mathew, Director, Aldrich International, the organiser. “It aids in heightened efficiencies, reduces corrosion and is a valuable asset to stay ahead of competition.

“This conference is an effort to enhance communication and help in exchanging knowledge between the major stakeholders.”

An annual event, MECOC features technology to enable oil and gas producers, power generators, and other verticals in the energy sector to enhance and improve materials, metals, and equipment for better corrosion management practices.
