Israel's Sheba Medical Centre and Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai organised webinar on PCOS

International experts convened to address Polycystic Ovary Syndrome which is one of most common issues impacting women's reproductive health in the Middle East, with an overall incident of 10 to 15% of female population.

Sheba Medical Center, the largest hospital facility in the Middle East, and ranked by Newsweek magazine as one of the World's Top 10 Best Hospitals collaborates with Medcare Women & Children Hospital, which is a part of the GCC region's largest healthcare system, on a first-ever educational webinar to enhance learnings on women's care.

International experts from Medcare Hospitals and Clinics and Sheba Medical Centre addressed a gathering of medical professionals from the region in an accredited educational webinar titled "Paradigm Shift in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)". The ground-breaking educational course/webinar, the first of its kind between Sheba and Medcare since the signing of the Abraham Accords, was led by Prof. Jaron Rabinovici, Head of Department and Vice-Chairman of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sheba Medical Center, and Dr. Keren Ofir, Director of Sheba's High-Risk Pregnancy Clinics. The webinar was moderated by Dr Paramjit Luthra, Head of Obstretics and Gynaecology and Dr Ahmed Abdel Hameed, Medical Director at Medcare Women & Children Hospital.
