IDP Education FOR WEB

IDP Education, a world leader in international education services, is set to launch the IDP UAE Study Abroad Expo in the UAE.

The Expo will provide students and their parents with all of the information required to apply to study in a university in their choice of six destination countries. The Expo will be held between 11am and 8pm in Abu Dhabi on September 23 at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi, before moving to the Grand Hyatt Dubai Convention entre in Dubai on September 24.

Imad Chaoui, Regional Director, MEA, EU & CIS has said this expo comes to the UAE as a result of IDP’s rich history in the region, spanning more than five decades.

“As a global leader in international education services, our innovative use of digital technology enables our global network of trusted local counsellors to provide insight and ensure successful results for both our students and partners.

We have helped more than 700,000 students, many of whom have come from the UAE, to study in quality courses around the world where they can achieve their lifelong learning and career aspirations,” Chaoui adds.

Prestigious universities from across the globe will be participating in the IDP UAE Study Abroad Expo. This includes the University of Manchester, University of Birmingham and University of Warwick from the UK, Dalhousie University and University of Alberta from Canada, Australian National University, University of Melbourne and Monash University from Australia, and University College Dublin and University of Galway, from Ireland.

These universities come from a list of more than 110 who will have a presence at the expo and be available for students to consult on their study abroad goals.

Rashi Bhattacharya, Area Director – UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey and Kazakhstan, says the expo is a great platform for students who wish to pursue their dreams of studying abroad.

“This expo is an end-to-end process where the students and parents are educated and informed about choices they can make to secure a bright future. Our IDP counsellors will also be on the ground to provide guidance and help international students gain admission to educational institutions in the main English-speaking countries through personalised course advice, course application submission and pre-departure guidance.

Studying abroad is a unique immersive experience that helps the student to gain confidence living among new people, to discover a new culture and a whole new world apart from learning the selected curriculum. Studying abroad has multiple benefits of learning under well trained educators and learning beyond the regular classroom format. Students are trained to change the way they think apart from developing their language skills.

"At the end of a successful term completion, there is an international exposure and global job prospects to choose from depending on the student’s area of interest,” adds Bhattacharya.
