IDP Education, a global leader in international education services, will host its first in-person UAE bi-annual study abroad expo post-pandemic, enabling participants to connect with prestigious educational institutions overseas. The Expo will connect UAE-based students and parents with renowned universities and colleges across the globe and assist them in exploring ideal destinations to pursue higher education abroad.

After the success of its previous virtual Expos since 2020, IDP’s Expo will be the largest Study Abroad Expo in the UAE and will take place on 16th and 18th September in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, respectively, from 3pm to 9pm, and it is free to attend. Both the Expos will host representatives from over 100 universities across Australia, the UK, Canada, Ireland, the USA, and New Zealand.

The Expo's theme reflects the rebound into the normal ways of life post-pandemic with various interactive programs. Students at the event can experience 'FastLane', an innovative new service from IDP that enables students to receive real-time in-principle offers from leading institutions.

It is recommended that students bring all their original education transcripts and identity documents with them as university representatives will then be able to answer specific inquiries.

Attendees can also participate in various seminars to understand the entire process and requirements of studying abroad and engage in 2 IELTS Masterclass sessions in each city from 1 pm to 3 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Commenting on the in-person Expo, Rashi Bhattacharya, Area Director - UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey & Kazakhstan, said IDP is looking forward to welcoming students and parents back to in-person Expos.

“As activities return to normal across major parts of the world, IDP has seen a renewed demand for students seeking to study abroad. Although the pandemic changed how students perceive education abroad through online education, the return to normalcy has revitalized their enthusiasm for experiencing the full scale of studying abroad in person,” said Bhattacharya.

“International borders are opening, travel is recommencing, and Universities are starting to opt for more physical classes, facilitating students’ global study ambitions. IDP’s team is ready to support students throughout the entire process of planning to study abroad to ensure they have a smooth transition and enjoy the experience,” she said.

IDP has over 50 years of experience providing leading international education services, including student services ranging from selecting the right university to assisting with visa processing, application support and more. It has offices in over 30 countries that help create pathways for students to study in their desired college or university abroad. Last year, globally, IDP has been successful in placing more than 55,000 students in over 800 top universities.
