Diversity and inclusion, women empowerment, and purpose-oriented entrepreneurship took center stage at the Global Women Leadership Conference and Awards 2024, held recently at the Millennium Hotel in Dubai. Spearheaded by Nousheen Mukhtar and meticulously organized by Impact Events, this significant event delved into these crucial topics, paving the way for impactful discussions and initiatives. Women in business from eighteen different countries participated in the conference, representing diverse industrial trends in leadership. The event served as a platform for industry leaders to explore business growth avenues for women entrepreneurs and business leaders.
The conference featured insightful talks and keynote speeches by multiple thought leaders. Mr. Ahmad Al Mahmood from Dubai Quality Group and Mr. Mohamed Al Ali from First Abu Dhabi Bank shared the UAE’s efforts towards women empowerment and visionary leadership. Thought-provoking talks from speakers including Nino Fincher, Sofia Kakkava, Caroline Desmarais, Katja Schipperheijn, Kristin Bone, Dr. Louise Van Der Velde, and Denise Marston addressed issues related to health and wellness, empowerment, self-actualization, self-development, as well as business growth.
During the latter half of the event, a mesmerizing award ceremony was organized to endorse selected women leaders who are making a considerable impact through their work. The award ceremony was chaired by Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al Qassimi. Sheikh Salem endorsed and appreciated the efforts made by women leaders by awarding them the Impact Leadership Award. The Global Women Leadership Conference is the brainchild of Nousheen Mukhtar, the well-known Dubai-based Pakistani businesswoman. This was the fourth season where women leaders celebrated innovation, diversity, inclusion, and leadership.
