On June 25 and 26, Gulf News is hosting Web3 DeCode, a two-day exhibition focused on blockchain, Web3, and the metaverse at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai. As the community partner, arte would like to announce that VOICE GEMS, an initiative to digitise human voices, can be whitelisted exclusively at the event.
Voice Gems is an ingenious collaborative enterprise by new media artist Reeps100 (Harry Yeff) and beatboxer Trung Bao. A culmination of 10 years of research, development, and lifelong collaborations with the world's leading voice artists, academics, technologists, engineers and technicians. The avant-garde project allows voices to be sculpted and preserved as digital gemstones and physical sculptures. The colours and structure of the gemstones are generated in real-time from gifted voice data and recordings. All Voice Gems are based on similar influential and critically endangered voices and exist as NFTs, print, 3D print, digital video, large-scale projection, and cast sculpture. The visually stunning artwork is supported by blockchain and shall inspire dialogues about value, fine art and humanity using new media.

The main content of the series is an internet-based adventure in which six characters from all over the world who got their super powers in cyberspace are drawn into the ,etaverse and must fight super villains in the web.
Snowcash is a web3 circle which includes a touring exhibition that explores the history of digital art, NFTs and the metaverse. All holders of the Voice Gems automatically get whitelisted for the upcoming Snowcash NFT drops and will be able to experience the exploration through a series of exhibitions, events with affiliated artists, architects and designers.
