Some words of experience from the winning teams:
"The DEWA Business Cup Challenge was an amazing experience for us, which tested our business knowledge and understanding alongside innovation and teamwork skills. We have thoroughly enjoyed the six weeks of different and exciting case studies and have gained a lot of experience from the competition", said Team Passwords from GEMS Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis.
Team Blue Leopards from the American University of Sharjah shared, "The BCC competition was an excellent opportunity for us to make practical use of our theoretical knowledge by solving the business case studies. Moreover, it honed our problem-solving skills and built our confidence in presenting our solution to an esteemed panel of judges. The best part of the challenge was listening to other teams' proposed solutions. We would like to thank Curtin University and DEWA for this learning experience, and we are very honoured to be the winners of the first university edition of this competition."
Curtin Dubai confirmed the return of the challenge in 2022 under the theme 'Sustainability’ and has extended the invite to all students in years 10 to 13 in the UAE to participate in this rewarding educational challenge.
