Dubai: Careem has partnered with Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) to launch its ride-hailing service in the emirate.

The newly launched service allows customers to book a Careem limo using their smartphones, with a starting fare of Dh10. Customers are also able to track the ride and pay in cash, through credit cards or Careem credits.

“The launch of the service comes as a part of a Careem scheme to offer simplified transportation to the emirate’s residents and visitors,” said Gheed Elmakkaoui, General Manager at Careem UAE.

Ras Al Khaimah-based users also have access to further services on the Careem Super App including credit transfer and mobile recharge, the company said.

The services are available in the following locations: Al Mefdeq, Boo Lydoa, Al Hamra Village, Al Hamra, Jazirat Al Hamra, Khatt, AL Dhait South, RAK Airport, Al Nakheel, Al Seer, Al Rams, Saraya Island, Ghalilah, Sha’am. Al Jeer, and Wadi Shaam.
