AAG, DAT tie to enhance UAE aviation services

Airline pilot and cabin crew training alliance set to enhance UAE’s aviation services

Dubai: Airways Aviation Group (AAG) and Dynamic Advanced Training (DAT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the UAE's aviation services.

The MoU was signed in the presence of AFM - Pilot Training Industry Market Intelligence, the globally recognised aviation services corporation Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Ltd (DAE), and Ansett Aviation Training (AAT), a global operator of pilot simulator training centres, according to a media release.

Discussions aimed at cooperation between AAG and DAE have commenced some years ago. Likewise, the relationships between the AAG, DAT, and AAT have evolved in parallel to streamline 'End-to-End Training Solutions' for airlines to meet the growing demands for Commercial Airline Pilots and Cabin Crew.

"The time is now right to move toward weaving together and solidifying these key relationships and to provide solutions via cooperation and mutual project partnerships. We most certainly can and will play important roles in providing the best 'End to End Training' to DAE's airline client base as well as the airline market generally", stated Romy Hawatt, Founder and Chairman of the Airways Aviation ESMA Group.

DAE is among the top ten global aircraft lessors, boasting an extensive portfolio with an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 500 aircraft. With its headquarters in Dubai, DAE brings over three decades of leasing expertise, offering customised and comprehensive solutions to airlines to meet their fleet objectives.

Commenting on the MoU, Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer of DAE, said, "This cooperation with AAT will provide DAE's airline customers with pilot training infrastructure for ATR 72-600 and Airbus A320 aircraft types at AAT's new training centre in Dubai. DAE's global network of customers and AAT's international network of training centres will allow both companies to enhance their product offerings to current and future customers."
