Around the clock preparations have gone as planned during the off-season to ensure a unique experience for all the family throughout the Silver Jubilee season. The milestone anniversary will take guests on a 25-week journey full of exciting entertainment and adventures, coming to a finale on 18th April 2021 during the holy month of Ramadan for the first time ever.
The profile and popularity of Global Village has continued to evolve over the years, resulting in a loyal following at home and abroad due to its incredible shopping, dining and entertainment attractions. This season, Global Village has returned with a host of offerings across the park and friends old and new are invited to join the celebrations.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful weather and revel in a unique shopping experience with 26 country pavilions, covering 78 cultures, including new additions from Russia, Cambodia and Vietnam. For dining, guests can taste delicacies from almost 200 international restaurants and cafes as part of the region’s largest street offering, with Azerbaijani, Georgian and American cuisines introduced to the extensive choice of culinary delights.
Along with amazing cultural shows on stage, new rides await in the Carnaval fun fair and kids will meet new characters at the Kids’ Theatre as Peter Rabbit, Octanauts and Care Bears join Ben & Holly, PJ Masks and Chottaa Bheem. The Stunt Show completes the entertainment line-up and will keep guests on the edge of their seat, while the world-famous Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! museum introduces more mind-blowing oddities and Marvelous Mirror Maze upgrades.
Global Village is celebrating the historic Silver Jubilee season by hosting the biggest virtual concert of all-time on October 30, as Rockin’1000 deliver an unforgettable musical performance that will be streamed on the Main Stage and online, so rock fans from around the world don’t miss out.
Social distancing, masks, state-of-the-art cashless payment services and thermal scanning have been installed to enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring everyone is comfortable and focused on having fun!
