Dubai: Some of the 'happiest' workplaces in the region have been revealed in the third edition of Happiness@Work awards. The winners included government and private sector organizations that have taken steps to increase the happiness quotient among its workforce.

Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development (Dubai SME) was rated the happiest in the public sector, while in the private sector, that went to Paramount Computer Systems. Xworks Interiors won the title among small and medium enterprises, which is new this year.

Sustainable Mindz, a Dubai-headquartered centre for corporate responsibility strategies, founded the Happiness@Work programme. The jury received 62 nominations for the different categories. Based on multiple parameters, an independent panel evaluated organisations in five different categories and 19 organisations were shortlisted.
