Idealz, the e-commerce platform with a twist, has partnered with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment through a signing that took place on June 30th between the two entities and Gargash Mercedes-Benz. The solidified partnership will see Idealz being the exclusive digital platform to host Dubai Summer Surprises’ series of prize campaigns with its capabilities to carry out such campaigns at high volumes. The partnership is set to bring new heights to the unique startup, which has made staggering growth since inception three years ago. What prompted DFRE to select Idealz as a partner as opposed to other platforms?
DFRE selected Idealz as a strategic partner for a number of reasons, namely because the platform allows customers to participate in citywide campaigns digitally without going against any COVID safety protocols in place. In addition to this, the platform is built to a world class standard capable of handling significant volume and footfall without service interruption and/or downtime. Will this translate into any future partnerships with DFRE? Or perhaps any other entities alike?
Yes of course. We are exploring future collaboration opportunities covering all of DFRE’s events and festivals throughout the year, which has also acted as a door opener with many other initiatives done by the entity.
Marking the start of Dubai Summer Surprises, DFRE’s DSS Mercedes Mega Raffle will see Idealz as the exclusive online point of sale, with Gargash Mercedes-Benz as the exclusive supplier of prizes. Having begun just this June and running through to September 2021, DFRE launched the latest version of its well-known ‘Mega Raffle’ campaign, which normally runs during the city’s premier shopping extravaganza, the Dubai Shopping Festival. The Mercedes Mega Raffle will be sold in sequential packages with each package consisting of 3,500 raffle tickets for each prize of a 2021 Mercedes C200 and AED25,000 cash. Draws for each prize will be conducted live on stage at select shopping malls in Dubai.
