On Thursday, June 3, Australian International School Dubai staff hosted representatives from the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Australian Business networks, including government representatives from Trade Investment QLD, to introduce the school’s new facilities. Representatives were impressed with the finished school’s modern classrooms, extensive sporting facilities, and state-of-the-art auditorium which will host numerous future events.

The officials engaged in conversations about the Australian Curriculum and its extensive ability to holistically develop students across their schooling life to ensure they transition successfully into a global world. The curriculum is well suited to Dubai given the multicultural context in which it has been designed to be delivered with both Dubai and Australia similar in nature.

The focus on students being the agents of their own learning ensures students become independent learners who develop creativity, problem-solving, collaborative skills and are innovative and flexible in how they operate. including Government representatives from Trade Investment QLD, to introduce the school’s new facilities.
