Dubai: The digital focused entity Injazat has launched the Cyber Fusion Center, expanding its cyber defense capabilities and portfolio of services. The facility will provide Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala and its group companies protection against data breaches and cyberattacks.

With this, the CFC’s approach will move beyond the “conventional ‘monitor and respond’ model of most security operations centers”, it said in a statement.

It will integrate behavior analytics and machine learning to provide a “unified approach to neutralize potential threats”.

The platform also taps an AI-based recommendation engine, which suggests remediation actions based on previous behavior patterns to reduce response times.

“Injazat has a long history of successfully supporting the critical and highly visible entities of the Abu Dhabi Government,” said Khaled Al Melhi, Injazat CEO. “Now we are taking our experience and knowledge to develop and deploy next-generation cyber capabilities and solutions for the region and beyond.”

The first phase of the project saw a number of companies onboarded, with an additional group of eight companies scheduled to begin receiving services this year.

Once the second phase by the Center is completed, Injazat will then expand its services to the wider UAE market within the third quarter of 2020.
