Tanfeeth appoints Maryam Bahlooq as CEO

DUBAI

Dubai-based bank Emirates NBD has appointed Maryam Bahlooq as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tanfeeth, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Emirates NBD Group, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

A UAE national, Maryam Bahlooq was previously Acting Group Head, Human Resources.

The company also announced that acting CEO Steve Thompson has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the shared services company.

Commenting on her appointment, Bahlooq stated: “I am honoured to lead Tanfeeth as we continue to support Emirates NBD Group’s growing needs.”
