CBD signs MoU with Hamriyah Free Zone Authority

Under the agreement, CBD will provide banking services to companies based in the zone

Dubai: The Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in Sharjah said on Wednesday they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a bid to boost trade and commercial activities in the zone. The MoU endorses the bank to set up offices and finance projects within the zone. Under the agreement, CBD will provide banking services to companies based in the zone and to firms that are set to establish operations in the area. CBD is also tasked to assist in financing projects within the zone.
