The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation signed a memorandum of understanding to increase the number of weekly flights between the two countries to 86,

In a meeting in Riyadh, both authorities discussed issues regarding air transport as well as ways of enhancing cooperation between UAE and Saudi Arabia and their respective carriers.

Chief executives of Emirati and Saudi national carriers attended the meeting, with aviation authorities of both countries sharing similar views.
