Dubai/Muscat: Emirates has responded to growing travel demand between Dubai and Muscat by accelerating the introduction of its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 on the route, now operating daily flights to enhance passenger experience and connectivity.

Originally scheduled for 1 July, Emirates brought forward the A350 deployment by a week.

Optimised flight timings

The overnight flight schedule (EK 866 departs Dubai at 2:15 am; EK 867 returns from Muscat at 4:40 am) is tailored for seamless connections to major global hubs across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

  • Flight EK 866 departs Dubai at 2:15 am and arrives in Muscat at 3:30 am.

  • Return flight EK 867 leaves Muscat at 4:40 am, landing in Dubai at 5:55 am.

  • These overnight timings are designed to provide seamless onward connections to major hubs in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

Enhanced Passenger Experience

The three-class A350 offers 312 seats, including 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 Premium Economy seats arranged 2-3-2, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. The aircraft is designed with higher ceilings and wider aisles, providing a spacious cabin environment. All passengers benefit from Emirates’ latest in-flight entertainment system, enhanced cabin lighting, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, and improved seat ergonomics for added comfort on short and medium-haul flights.

Emirates Strengthens Commitment to Oman

Muscat is among the first cities in the region to welcome Emirates’ next-generation A350, joining destinations such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Amman, Edinburgh, Mumbai, Tunis, Colombo, and Ahmedabad. Emirates has added seven A350s to its fleet so far, with plans to serve 17 destinations worldwide by the end of 2025.
