Dubai: Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had announced a significant promotion offering up to a 50 per cent discount on international flights. The exclusive offer covers both round-trip and transit flights across its extensive network, available for booking in both Business and Guest Class (Economy class).

Travellers can secure the discounted fares from August 17 to 31. The promotion applies to flights scheduled for the travel period between September 1 and December 10. Bookings can be made through Saudia’s digital channels, including its official website and mobile app, as well as through its sales offices.

The initiative is part of Saudia’s ongoing efforts to enhance its passenger experience, which includes a comprehensive transformation of its services and a significant expansion of its fleet.

As part of this digital ecosystem, passengers booking transit flights can also benefit from the Kingdom’s digital Stopover Visa, which is automatically linked to their ticket. This visa allows a stay of up to 96 hours in Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity to explore the country or even perform Umrah.

Saudia currently serves more than 100 destinations across four continents with a growing fleet of 149 aircraft. The airline’s digital services, powered by artificial intelligence, are designed to make booking and check-in processes seamless and efficient, it said.

In April this year, Saudia Group disclosed an order with Airbus for 10 A330-900 aircraft for its subsidiary, flyadeal. It marks the first wide-body order for the subsidiary and paves the way for new long-haul services and an enhanced passenger experience, while advancing the airline’s goal of operating the youngest fleet among the Middle East’s low-cost airlines.
