Flydubai takes off to Almaty, Kazakhstan

Dubai: Flydubai expanded its Central Asia network on Tuesday with the inaugural flight to Almaty, the Kazakhstan capital.

The airline said in a statement on Tuesday, the new Dubai-Almaty route operates four times a week.

Flight FZ701 departs Dubai for Almaty in the morning on Tuesday’s Wednesday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s with the return flight departing the same day in the afternoon. Return economy fares start from Dh1,750.

Almaty is the airline’s second destination in Kazakhstan after Shymkent, where it flies twice weekly.
