Transit passengers via Dubai to these destinations not accepted until further notice
Dubai: Dubai-based airline flydubai has temporarily suspended flights to several destinations amid ongoing regional developments and airspace closures.
The airline confirmed that flight suspensions affect five countries and will remain in place until 30 June.
Iran
Iraq
Israel
Syria
St. Petersburg
Passengers transiting through Dubai with final destinations in any of these locations will not be accepted for travel from their point of origin until further notice.
Flydubai has advised affected travellers to check rebooking options through the ‘Manage Booking’ section on flydubai.com or to contact their travel agent. Passengers are also encouraged to update their contact details to receive timely notifications.
The airline also noted that other flights may experience delays or rerouting. Travellers departing from or arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) are urged to check their flight status regularly.
Flydubai said it is "monitoring the situation closely and adjusting our flight schedule accordingly," and reiterated that the safety of passengers, crew, and operations remains its highest priority.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience and thanked passengers for their understanding.
If your Etihad flight is impacted by the current regional tensions, do not cancel it immediately. Instead, wait for the airline to officially cancel the booking — this may make you eligible for a full refund, free rebooking, or travel credit.
