Dubai: Dubai Airports has confirmed that some flights at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC) were cancelled or delayed following the temporary closure of airspace over Iran, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria in the early hours of June 13.

In a statement to Gulf News, Dubai Airports said it is working closely with airlines and service partners to minimise inconvenience to passengers.

Dubai Airports has urged travellers to contact their airlines directly for the latest flight updates and to explore rebooking options before heading to the airport.

Arrive early

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey, as flight operations may experience delays.

On-ground assistance available

Dubai Airports said guest ambassador teams are on hand across all terminals to assist affected passengers. The airport authority also thanked travellers for their patience as the situation continues to be monitored and managed.
