Dubai: Dubai’s flagship airline, Emirates, unveiled stylish new uniforms for its premium and VIP passenger services team. The staff are responsible for seamlessly transferring premium and VIP personnel through Dubai International Airport (DXB).

According to the airline, Emirates’ premium and VIP passenger services in Dubai are a busy and in-demand team. Dubai is becoming the premier destination for high-net-worth individuals and a central hub for world-class meetings, incentives, conferences and events.

The 145-member Emirates team are trained to assist high-profile VIP travellers and First-Class connecting passengers at Dubai International Airport. Annually, they cater to over 150,000 premium and VIP passengers, including dignitaries, royalty, celebrities, and influencers. The team also manages VIP travel for major events like the World Government Summit, Formula 1, and Dubai Film Festival.

The airline clarified that the services of the premium and VIP passenger teams are not available to book and are complimentary. Premium services are provided for First-Class connecting passengers at Dubai International Airport, whereas VIP Services are provided at the discretion of Emirates’ VIP Management team based on eligibility criteria.

Designed in-house by Emirates’ uniform standards team, the uniforms are made to reflect the airline’s signature style. The new attire includes three variations: an A-line skirt suit, a pantsuit for women, and a tailored three-piece suit for men.

The uniforms feature a warm sand tone with red accents, complemented by Emirates’ iconic red hat, a cream chiffon scarf, and red leather shoes. Women’s handbags are designed to carry essentials like iPads and documents, while the VIP uniform includes a red pleat in the skirt and a stylish red leather belt.

First-class connecting passengers enjoy personalised greetings, fast-track security, and premium transfers using Mercedes Viano vehicles or buggies, ensuring a smooth transit experience.
