Emirates SkyCargo starts plane parts airfreight

Dubai: Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates airline, has launched a service to transport aircraft parts around the world.

Emirates AOG is intended to help get grounded aircraft back in the air by dispatching critical components quickly.

The service allows a late cut-off time for cargo acceptance, as well as expedited delivery at destination and tracking during shipping and handling.

Nabil Sultan, Emirates divisional senior vice-president for Cargo, said: “With Emirates AOG, customers can be assured of a rapid, efficient and reliable service to transport parts that can help get their aircraft back into service at the earliest.”
