Emirates flies over half million to Doha in first half

Dubai: Emirates said on Wednesday it is adding two daily flights to Doha after flying over half a million people between Dubai and the Qatari capital in the first half of the year.

The additional flights start October 30 and will increase daily services to nine and weekly services to 63, the airline said in a statement, adding that it has timed the flights to have better connections to destinations in Asia.

EK879 and EK877 will depart Dubai at 4:10am and 1:05pm, respectively.
