Sunday also saw a return to Tokyo Narita for the A380, a route serviced by the Boeing 777-300 since 2013
Dubai: Emirates has launched three new A380 destinations, Toyko, Casablanca, and Sao Paolo, from its hub in Dubai, the carrier announced on Sunday.
The flight to Tokyo Narita International resumed the airline’s A380 services that were axed in June 2013, after demand for travel between Japan and Dubai rebounded, according to the statement.
With its latest deployment, Emirates now flies the A380 to 49 destinations on six continents. On Sunday morning, Emirates flight EK318 left Dubai for Narita, Japan. This was followed by flight EK751 to Casablanca, and then flight EK261 to Sao Paulo.
