Cooling plant construction at Abu Dhabi International complete

Dubai: Abu Dhabi Airports, the operator of Abu Dhabi International, said on Tuesday it has completed construction on one of the country’s largest district cooling plants.

The 55,000 tonne capacity plant will serve the new Midfield Terminal Building (MTB), Etihad Airways’ future home at Abu Dhabi International, according to an email statement. Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Chief Executive Officer, Abu Dhabi Airports, and Sulaiman Al Siksek, Chief Programmes Officer, inaugurated the plant on Tuesday, the statement said.
